The church grows when each member discovers, develops, and dedicates his/her spiritual giftedness to the body. To dedicate means to exercise one's gift by being involved in a ministry.
God has equipped every believer with at least one spiritual gift for the purpose of growing up the body of Christ.
"Preparing God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up", according to Eph 4:12.
